Pinpointed at the orifice of harbour of the capital city of Port Blair, the Viper Island is an integral portion of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Viper Island offers a heavenly view of the sea, the harbour and the lush green environment. The island derives its name from a ship named Viper, which was ruined here in the 1789. An old jail is the prime attraction of the place. Beside this, the Viper Island is also flocked by numerous couples who visit the place to spend their honeymoon, thereby making the place a very well renowned honeymoon destination.

Chatham Saw Mill Established by the British in the year 1836, the Chatham saw Mill is one of the largest wood handlers in Asia. Pinpointed in the Chatham Island, the mill allows one to have a quick peep into the past and economy of the Island.

Adi Bengali Hotel-As Bengalis form the majority of the Viper Island, a Bengali Hotel is a must. The Adi Bengali Hotel furnishes several Bengali cuisines along with various varieties of delicious fishes. The hotel satisfies its guests with the staple food of Bengalis.

New India Cafe-The place is the favourite of the locals. One can find a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food from different parts of India. The breakfast omelettes of the cafe are extremely popular.

Lighthouse Residency- is undoubtedly one of the best places where you can find seafood. Ranging from crab to red snapper, the place has a lot to offer. Grilled or cooked prawns (as per your wish) are served with chips and rice.
