Triund

Triund lies at the peak of the eternally snow clad Dhauladhar at the height of 2975 meter. The snow band starts at Ilaqa (3350 meter), 5km from Triund. It is a renowned picnic and trekking spot. The stern tracks from Rawa, Dal Lake, Dharamkot and Bhagsunag accommodated at a ridge referred as Galu temple (2130 meter) which has a small altar and water point. After the snow Nullah the expedition rises pithily bouncing through 22 curves accomplishing the ascendance strenuous and difficult. On the way one can spot abounding birds and wild animals.

McLeodganj

A scintillating but small and cool tourist destination, McLeodganj is nicely anchored in high Dharmasala and is the acclaimed bench of the holy leader Dalai Lama. The city was called after David McLeod, the former Governor of Punjab under British rule. This is the administrative address of the Tibetan Government in exile. Mcleodganj a real cross section of Tibet is a well known learn centre of Tibetan culture and Buddhist dharmas and rituals. Jwalamukhi Temple

Jwalamukhi is acclaimed temple, 30 km south of Kangra Valley of the goddess Jwalamukhi with fiery mouth. In this temple there is a copper pipe through which natural gas comes out and the priest of the temple lights this. This blaze is worshiped as a manifestation of the goddess Jwalamukhi. The nine flames have been called after goddesses - Mahakali, Unpurna, Chandi, Hinglaj, Bindhya Basni, Maha Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ambika and Anji Devi, continuously burning without any fuel, or aid, may be seen erupting from a bedrock side.

Dharamkot

Dharamkot is a small but gorgeous hill base in Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. On the peak of a hill aloft McLeodGanj, Dharamkot is an adorable spot that presents a breathtaking view of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar ranges. There are a couple of small (and interesting) eateries around. Several foreigners have taken residence in the area; all reside in village homes and tiny guest houses.
